The Marina Bay Sands Mobile App enables hotel guests to complete their ID verifications on their personal mobile devices from anywhere in the world and check-in once they arrive at our hotel.
Upon making a reservation with the hotel, download the app, login with membership ID and carry out four simple steps under the Hotel tab to complete your check-in:
(1) Scan your government-issued ID or international passport
(2) Take a selfie to verify your identity via facial recognition technology
(3) Confirm your personal details, and
(4) Activate digital keys for room and lift access upon arrival at the hotel*.
*The digital key can only be activated when the room is ready for check-in. Alternatively, guest can approach the Front Desk for direct assistance.
Only government-issued identification documents, including the Singapore National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) or international passports, are recognised on this app. Driver’s licenses are not applicable.
All guests will be able to download and use the Marina Bay Sands Mobile App. However, to take full advantage of the Smart Hotel features, guests will need to be logged-in to the app.
The Marina Bay Sands app is available for download in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The app currently allows check-in of up to 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children per room.

Yes but currently pre-arrival registrations/ID verifications and check-in will have to be performed for each separate booking.
Yes, however, there is a limit to the number of key cards the hotel will issue per guest, based on the number of registered guests allowed in each room type.
All guests in the same booking can only have either the digital or the physical key at any one time.
The app only allows guests to make payment using the credit card provided at the point of the room reservation. If you wish to pay via other methods, please approach the Front Desk directly for assistance upon check-out.

The app allows cancellations using the "Manage Booking" option.

Yes, guests have to be physically present within Marina Bay Sands to perform check-in and to download the digital key. However, pre-arrival registration/ID verification can be done wherever you are.
