The newly renovated Sands Grand Ballroom was reopened after 6 September
The Sands Grand Ballroom has been the proud home of iconic events like SIBOS, YPO, Herbalife and Tax Free World Association (TFWA). With it being utilised every single working day of 2018, it was important to maintain the venue’s pristine look and feel. Hence the Sands Grand Ballroom underwent a period of renovation and was reopened after 6th September. We’re pleased to share that the venue now sports a fresher look, new carpets and chandeliers. The newly refreshed Ballroom will be the home of many of our key events in 2020 and beyond, such as International Trademark Association (INTA)’s Annual Meeting, Lions Clubs International Convention, Money2020 and IBTM Asia Pacific.
With a large floor area of over 8,000 square metres, the Sands Grand Ballroom is Southeast Asia’s largest ballroom. It can seat up to 6,600 diners for a banquet or up to 8,000 delegates for a theatre-style convention. Organisers who want to explore creative use of the space are always rewarded with the flexible configuration that the Ballroom offers. For instance, it can be configured into 16 rooms to hold smaller groups of a few hundred people. Collectively, these features have established the Ballroom’s reputation as the venue-of-choice among event organisers.
