COMME des GARÇONS celebrated its 50-year achievement through a silent tribute in March 2019 in Rei Kawakubo’s ‘Gathering of Shadows’ designs at the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2019 Fashion show. The campaign expressed a beautiful message on how many small shadows can become a powerful force through unity. Rei Kawakubo then showed off edgy ready-to-wear ahead of the brand’s upcoming collection.
