Nurturing Leonardos
- Free admission
- 8 & 9 May (Friday & Saturdays)
Leonardo da Vinci viewed the world as a dynamic and interconnected system, and his ability to observe and draw upon nature’s inherent connectivity is perhaps his greatest legacy. Nurturing Leonardos will shed light on how da Vinci understood way ahead of his time how universal laws govern all of nature. The conference will return to a central question: can we recreate the environment of Da Vinci’s time which enabled him to think so expansively, and apply his systemic approach to understanding the world today, so that ‘new Leonardos’ may emerge?
Over a span of two days, noted speakers in the areas of art, science, history and technology from within Singapore and around the world will gather to analyse and explore da Vinci’s interdisciplinary approach, and if and how it still resonates in the 21st century.
