Digital Art
24 January to 1 February, 2015
FUTURE MASTERS 2015 is the inaugural exhibition of Samsung Masterpieces’ digital art programme for young and aspiring artists, focusing on submissions from six Southeast Asia countries: Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Sitting at the intersection of art, science and technology, ArtScience Museum is a fitting venue to showcase the innovative works of these emerging talents, who leveraged greatly on technology such as Samsung GALAXY S-pen and Note devices, in the creation of their artworks.
The exhibition, which takes up the entire Level 4 of ArtScience Museum, will exhibit art submissions of the top 35 artists and 6 Masters Finalists from the Masterpieces programme. The exhibition will also feature an interactive space, encouraging guests to create and upload art into the Samsung MASTERPIECES app, a platform under the Samsung Supports the Arts Initiative.
